Kail, Ecker to Host Policy Committee Hearing, Press Conference on Negative Impacts of Energy Tax
WHAT:    In order to protect Pennsylvania families from crippling electric bills, House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington) and vice chairman Torren Ecker (R-Adams/Cumberland) will be hosting a hearing and press conference to discuss the negative impacts of the energy tax found in Gov. Josh Shapiro’s and House Democrats’ budget plan for the 2023-24 Fiscal Year.

WHO:     Kail; Ecker; members of the committee; Greg Moreland, Pennsylvania State Director, National Federation of Independent Business; and David Taylor, president and CEO, Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association. 

WHEN:    Today, Monday, June 12, at 10 a.m. Press conference at 12:15 p.m.

WHERE:    The hearing will take place in Room 205 Ryan Office Building, Harrisburg. The press conference will occur in the Ryan Office Building Atrium.
