Wealth of Information Awaits at Ecker’s Senior Expo
ABBOTTSTOWN – Rep. Torren Ecker (R-Adams/Cumberland) will again host his popular Senior Expo at Cross Keys Village in New Oxford this month. The free event will be held in the Nicarry Meetinghouse from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11.
“This fun-filled event is truly a highlight of the year. I get to meet so many wonderful residents and attendees gain a lot of information about the countless services available to older Pennsylvanians,” Ecker said.
Past attendees left with information about medical equipment, transportation, health programs and legal services from local organizations and businesses. It will be the same this year. There will also be free giveaways and the ever-popular door prizes will be awarded.
Though the event is geared toward older residents, Ecker encourages caregivers, such as sons and daughters of seniors, to attend so they know what services are available.
